	Michael Gasik Dipl. Eng. (special metallurgy), Ph. D. (ferrous metallurgy), Dr. Techn. (materials processing), Dr. Techn. Sci. (powder metallurgy and composite materials).Professor, head of the laboratory of materials processing and powder metallurgy of the Helsinki University of Technology (TKK), Espoo, Finland.Competence/experience fields: metallurgy (steels, ferroalloys, light alloys (Al, Ti), Cu, Ni, Co and Zn), materials manufacturing processes, materials solutions development, computational thermodynamics and kinetics, applied thermal analysis, FEM and analytical methods including multiphysics. He has managed several European Projects and many national and international projects in materials processing, application, design and solutions. Role for NADIA Task leader, project manager from the side of Helsinki University of Technology.He is in charge of the respective tasks, where HUT is participating, managing the scientific and technical matters of the University’s project contribution.

(cast Al-Si alloys development and processing).Principal Research Scientist, laboratory of materials processing and powder metallurgy of the Helsinki University of Technology (TKK), Espoo, Finland.Competence/experience fields: physical metallurgy (metal systems, especially Al and Ti alloys), alloys manufacturing processes, metallography and heat treatment.
